Enabling Research in Artificial Intelligence
EIRA have released a new film that highlights how the project is supporting knowledge exchange between businesses and academic expertise by utilising artificial intelligence (AI). Featuring interviews from Don Shaw-Case, Knowledge Exchange Theme Lead for the AI theme, Dr James Bentham and Dr Jennifer Hiscock from the University of Kent, and Andy McElroy from The Research Network (TRN), the film demonstrates how EIRA are enabling research in AI to streamline and develop new business services.
The project team featured in this short film used data mining techniques to develop a ‘match-making app’ that will enable academics to find potential research collaborators over a wide variety of sectors and disciplines.
